A Swimmer in the Making

CAUTION!!!!  Proud momma posting here so get ready!  Words cannot express how proud I am of Caleb this week!  This week was his first time in swim lessons (keep in mind it's only been 5 days) and my little boy made my eyes tear up today with his accomplishment already!!

So a few months back my friend Brandie had posted about her daughter going to swim lessons at Emler's Swim School.  At the time, I really wanted to enroll Caleb in a class as well but knew that with school and everything else that was going on, it would be rough.  So I decided to wait until this summer.  After spending a week at this place I'm so disappointed in myself for not enrolling him in the beginning of the summer!!  These kids that work there are absolutely amazing instructors!!  Mr. John Michael has made Caleb's swim class so fun!  Each day the kids have a different theme and look for different things. Monday they were at the luau looking for fish, Tuesday they went to Outer Space, Wednesday they were at the circus, Thursday they were pirates looking for treasure and today they were searching for the Sheriff! 

My little Sheriff today swam his first swim on his own and I couldn't have been prouder!!  Check it out!!

Can you believe that?!?!  After 5 days my little guy is becoming independent!!  Seriously you guys... if you are looking for a FANTASTIC place to send your child for swim lessons I would recommend this to anyone.  It's a little expensive, but I totally think it's worth the price!  I can't wait to see what he can do by the end of next week!
