"Every puppy should have a boy." ~Erma Bombeck

One of the things that Chris and I were worried about before Caleb arrived, was how Noelle was going to adjust to the change. She never had to share us with anyone else so we thought she might be kind of jealous of Caleb. Instead, the complete opposite happened. Upon their first meeting, Noelle has done nothing but love and protect him! She sniffed him like crazy wondering what this new "toy" was and trying to figure out how she could play with it. As the weeks have gone on, Noelle has learned that Caleb is not a toy that she can play with, however she does guard him like her life depends on it! Anytime he cries she is the first one there to see what the fuss is all about and to make sure he is ok. She also has to double check that we bring him home anytime we go on an outing without her. Needless to say, she doesn't mind sharing the attention with him, and I think they will probably grow up to be life-long buds!
