Just Keep Swimming

Today was Caleb's first day of swim lessons.  For the next 2 weeks we will go every day Monday-Friday and let me tell you how excited my little guy is about this!  I had every intention of enrolling Caleb in swim lessons last summer, but the summer went by so fast that I never got around to it.  So when this summer approached and I realized that we would not be taking any trips or traveling, I told myself that we had to do it no matter what.
This little adventure started off last month when I made the mistake of taking Caleb with me to enroll him in the class.  He was so excited about it then that when he didn't actually get to go in the pool... it was like I took his favorite toy away from him and the whole car ride home I heard how awful it was and that "you are never going to take me back there!"  YIKES!!  I mean to tell you he was U-P-S-E-T!!  So today when I told him we FINALLY get to go to the "lesson pool" as he called it, he was so excited!  So excited that he even took a nap without fighting me.  So after lunch and our much needed nap I loaded Caleb up and we headed to our very first swim lesson.
We got there a little early so we had to sit and wait our turn... which my little guy totally was not feeling that, however he made it the 10 minutes that he had to wait and finally his time had arrived.
Caleb's instructor is GREAT with him.  There were a totally of 4 kids in his little group and they all did an awesome job looking for fish, going to the luau, kicking, & floating on their backs!

I cannot wait to see what Caleb is able to do when we are done in 2 weeks!
