As some of you know, we packed up our bags the first Friday in June and headed for New Orleans, Louisiana to start our vacation. Our first stop on our vacation was at Gran and Pa's house. Caleb loved being outside and looking at Pa's fish tank and swinging on the swing.
After visiting with Gran and Pa for a little while we jumped back in the car and drove across town to see Maw Maw for the first time. Caleb loved her bells she had in her room, and we sat and visited for a little while and then went for a ride... Caleb in his stroller and Maw Maw in her wheelchair.
Then we went back to Gran and Pa's house for a good ole fashion cajun dinner... CRAWFISH!!!!! Chris was in heaven, I had chicken as did Caleb, but he sure was curious about those little crustaceans! And not to mention he also got his first ouchie that left a mark. I tried to circle it so you could see it.
After dinner, Chris took us for a snowball and Caleb had to try a little bit of everyone's!
On Sunday, we got up and went to Chris's favorite place in New Orleans I think,
Cafe Du Monde. Gran and Pa took us to eat beignets and Caleb tried his very first beignet and loved it!
Later we had a family get together and Caleb got to meet his Aunt Amy, Uncle Keith, and 2nd Cousin Lauren for the first time. Lauren and Caleb loved each other instantly, well that's until they had to share toys! :)
Monday, we got up and packed our things to head to Florida. But we couldn't forget to add some more memories before we left.
Thanks for a wonderful visit Gran and Pa, we miss you already!
