Getting ready for Santa!
IT'S FINALLY HERE! The day after Thanksgiving and Mommy can finally get ALL of the decorations out and start putting up the tree!! I'll tell you a secret though... we've kinda had some decorations up for a week now! Daddy has been Scrooge about decorating for Christmas so we got him his very own special stocking hat that says, "Bah Humbug" on it! Anyway, today was a busy and fun day. I am so excited about Christmas this year for many reasons, but the two most important are: it's Caleb's very first Christmas, AND we get to stay in Texas this year...YAY!! I love spending the holidays with our families in Illinois or New Orleans, but now that Caleb is in our lives it will be nice to have his first Christmas at his own house!
You could tell the Christmas spirit was in the air at the Bordelon house because even Noelle wanted to be apart of the festivities!!
We took a few pictures in our stocking hats, as we were setting up the tree,
and in honor of his first Christmas, and his first Christmas tree, we let Caleb pick out the branch he wanted to hang his Baby's Frist Christmas ornament on!
Since Caleb picked his spot for his ornament Daddy did as well!
After the boys got done finding the perfect spot for their ornaments I finished decorating the tree and they watched LSU get beat by Arkansas (sorry Daddy, I had to throw that in there). The house is ready for Santa to come visit!! I just hope he fits down the chimney, eats the cookies Caleb makes (I heard he really likes chocolate chip cookies) and maybe even brings a White Christmas to Texas from his long trip from the North Pole!!
