That's exactly what this little boy of ours has... determination! After a long day out in the sun with the Jackson Family, Chris and I headed home and THOUGHT Caleb would be ready to go to bed right away. Caleb however had other plans. He immediately wanted to play, crawl around and get into everything as soon as we got back home. As Chris and I were sitting there watching Caleb play, he headed for the coffee table and I knew right away I needed to get my camera out! Our little man started pulling himself up!! I must say, this wasn't an easy task for him to do, but my 9 month old son did not give up. Granted he may have whimpered here and there every now and then, but he kept trying and trying until he finally achieved his goal. He made it to the standing position and discovered a whole new world on top of the coffee table.
I was completely amazed at how such a tiny little person decided he wanted to do something and was absolutely determined until he actually did it. I hope that this is a characteristic he keeps with him forever, because I know that if he does he will grow up to do many great, wonderful, and talented things!!
P.S. Later that night when it was actually time to go to bed, he was also very DETERMINED not to do this!! I walked into his room and found him standing in his crib! What a STINKER!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
