First Day of School

Well, it's official. My baby is finally in daycare. Caleb started his first day of school last Friday and needless to say he wasn't the one that was throwing a tantrum! You never know what goes on in your baby's head, but if I would have had to guess I'm sure he was probably thinking, "WOW a new place to explore!" Chris and I dropped him off on Friday and he immediately started smiling and laughing at all of the new faces and toys that were surrounding him. His mom's face however was not smiling and laughing, it was trying to fight back tears. I thought going back to work was hard, but dropping him off in a strange place with people you don't really know was ten times harder. I called during the day once to check up on him and of course he was doing just fine. The day just couldn't go by fast enough though. Here is how our morning started: by the end of the day, Caleb and I were both tuckered out and ready for the weekend! :) TGIF will be the new slogan in our house!
