It's official, my little man has his first "girlfriend"... ok so maybe not really BUT Sammie J. is absolutely perfect in everyway, AND if we still did things like they did in the old days I would definitely tell him that he needed to date her(just when he gets a little older).
So a couple of Friday's ago, our friends Chuck and Krissy invited over to one of their Friday night rituals they do as a family with Sus. Caleb got to hang out with his Auntie Sus and also meet Sammie for the first time! Sammie is a few months younger than Caleb, and quite a few pounds lighter. She still doesn't weigh as much as Caleb did when he was born! Anyway, it was a nice Friday night with good food, good drinks, and good company, we had a lot of fun. The girls chit-chatted while the boys played the Wii! As soon as we got there though Chuck had to take Caleb aside and have a little "chat" with him about his daughter. I don't think Caleb really cared to hear what Chuck was saying because he just laughed at him the whole time! Hopefully Caleb and Sammie will have many more opportunities to have playdates and grow to love each other!
