A sad day with a happy ending

Today was a really hard day for me, it was my first official day back to school. Caleb and I woke up at 5 this morning and I got to feed him and hold him for a while before I actually had to start getting ready. I didn't want to let go of my sweet little baby. With him holding on to a small section of my hair, and the sound of his breath in my ear I felt like my world was falling out of my hands. The good thing though was that I wasn't taking him to daycare, he was going to spend the day with Nana. As I drove to school, all I could do was cry because I just wanted to be at home with my baby. I got ready for my day and the bell rang, time to pick up my kiddos. I must say, for the first time being their teacher they did pretty well. They are full of sweetness, but nothing compares to being with my baby! Nana dropped Caleb off at school and as soon as I could, I loaded him up in the car and we headed for home. When we got here I played with him for a little bit and held him and kissed him probably entirely too much. Then my sweet little man decided he was tired so we ended our long day away from each other by snuggling on daddy's chair and we took a nap!! It was the perfect way to come home after a long day at work! 1 day down, 4 more to go until Thanksgiving Break! :)
