A Real Baby

Today Chris and I went for another sonogram to see how developed Caleb really is. He was measuring a few weeks bigger than what he should have been a couple of weeks ago when we went to see the doctor. Well, it was confirmed today that he is definitely BIGGER than what he should be! Technology today is such an interesting tool. Who would have ever thought that they could put a little microphone looking thingy on your tummy and be able to see what your baby looks like?! Not only that, but they can take measurements of his body parts. Well anyway, when we first saw Caleb today he was holding his toes!! He was so cute all curled up and playing with his feet. So, the ultrasound tech started taking his measurements and here is what she came up with: ~Thigh bone- 32 weeks and 4 days ~Stomach- 32 weeks and 4 days ~Head- 34 weeks and 4 days (Lord PLEASE don't let my baby have a big head!) ~Estimated weight- 4lbs. 9oz. 84 pecentile So needless to say, as of right now he is a BIG kid! We go to the doctor again on Friday and hopefully we will discuss what all of this means.

Look at Caleb just chillin'!! : ) I can't wait until he is here. It comes and goes way too fast. So enjoy every second of it ~ I know you will. Love and miss you!

Big boy or not, we will still love him! Just a lot more to love! The next few months will go by pretty quickly so enjoy the time because your time will change after he is here. I am so glad you get to take a few more weeks off to be with Caleb, you will love it and then will hate to go back to work. Miss and love you!

Love, Mom
